  • Jean-Charles’ lifelong passion for wine began in his youth.  His parents founded Maison Ropiteau in one of the most traditional wine growing regions of the world.  The family vineyard sits in the heart of burgundy. This 100% Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown in the South of France, in clay-limestone, marl and sandy clay soils strewn with pebbles.  An easy-drinking wine, it pays tribute to the great noble French varietals and to the roots of Ropiteau Freres. Deep red in colour with ruby highlights.  Warm on the nose with red fruits, peach, toast, vanilla and coconut. Full-bodied on the palate with flavours of cherry blackcurrant and liquorice. Ready to drink but can be kept for 1-2 years.
