  • A blend of fruit from 35 year old vines and 120 year old vines is the key to the Bishop Cuvee.  The fruit from the younger vines is fresh and vibrant whilst shiraz from the oldest blocks in the Ebenezer Vineyard give structure and enhance the palate profile. This Bishop has deep rich aromas and flavours of blackberries and ripe dark plums.  It delivers in a pure and supple mode and carries plenty of weight into the soft, fleshy and drinkable finish. "Deep crimson purple, a scaled down version of Amon-Ra, elegance substituted for the flamboyant concentration of Amon-Ra, but the flavour spectrum is very similar, the only difference a pleasing savoury note to the finish of this wine."  James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 95/100 points.
